The only one that publishes spread, commission, swaps, and lot size without registering. And the only one whose contract size differs from all the others — an easy way to be off by a factor of ten.

«InstaFinance Ltd, reg. number 1811672 ... License number SIBA/L/14/1082 issued by the BVI FSC.»
An active company in the BVI register. The register doesn't publish the licence number itself — the link between it and this company comes only from the broker's own statement.
Named right in the homepage's footer, after scrolling all the way down — the registration form itself doesn't mention the entity. Right next to it, a second group company — Insta Global Ltd, Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — with no licence and no regulator, just a trademark holder.
a compensation fund — instead of insurance, there's only a promotion tied to referring friends or a tenfold deposit,a published percentage of losing accounts,🔴 negative balance protection — the only one of the five partners without it. The contract explicitly states the opposite right: "The Company reserves the right to restore a negative balance on one of the Client's accounts using funds available on their other accounts"
InstaForex has no separate "activation" step with a questionnaire like some other brokers — the account becomes real and tradable as soon as the registration form is submitted.

This screen shows exactly one password — a trading one, for MT4. There's no separate investor (view-only, no trading rights) password anywhere in the fields or the text — despite that being the standard pair for MetaTrader accounts. We can't say whether it's issued in a separate email or generated inside the terminal instead: we simply haven't seen it.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Account type | Insta.Standard |
| Leverage (maximum per specification) | up to 1:1000 |
| Minimum lot | 0.01 |
| Platforms | MT4, MT5, web terminal |
The fast-registration form (fast_open_live_account) never asks about leverage — you don't choose it. In the web terminal, the account opened this way shows "Leverage: 1:100" under Information, not the "up to 1:1000" InstaForex advertises on its account-types page. This isn't a contradiction of the numbers — 1:1000 remains the maximum for the Insta.Standard account spec — but the fastest registration path specifically defaults to five times less leverage, with no clear warning about it on the form.
The "Deposit money" section lists all ten methods on one screen, with the fee and crediting time for each. Below is the full path using Tether (USDT) as the most detailed example — from picking the method to the address you pay.

MixPay Protocol isn't InstaForex and isn't a bank partner named in its agreement — it's a separate crypto payment service, mentioned only inside the deposit flow itself. It doesn't appear on any public InstaForex page about payment methods — the broker's site simply says "Deposit in Tether" without naming who technically receives the payment.
| Parameter | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | 1 USD | broker's website |
| Inactivity fee | 10 USD/month after 3 months | BVI agreement |
| Methods | card, bank and electronic transfer, Bitcoin, Tether, Litecoin, Ethereum, and others | broker's website |
Our own account hasn't gone through verification yet, so what's below isn't our dashboard — it's InstaForex's own trial dashboard, with sample data ("John Smith"), which the broker opens to anyone who wants to see the interface before registering. The structure and wording are real — it's the same screen our account will see once it gets there.

Level one is a scan of your passport or another ID document. Level two is a second document (of a different type) or proof of address. The screen also shows a rejection example: "The document failed verification" with the exact reason — the file must be jpg/jpeg/bmp/gif/png/pdf and under 25 MB.
Separately from the trading dashboard: the demo-account signup form only asks for country, email, currency, and virtual deposit size — verification never comes up there at all.

The widget shows a Sell/Buy split for the instrument. On our account balance is 0.00 with no open positions, and on every instrument we checked (ten stocks on the Classic screen and #A on the chart) the value is exactly 50%/50% with zero deviation — real trader-position distribution never looks like that. This looks like an interface default rather than a live aggregation of trades; don't treat it as a fact about what other clients are doing.
| Instrument | Spread | Commission | Swap L / S | Lot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD | 0.6 points | 0 | −10.1 / +1.1 | 10,000 |
| GBP/USD | 0.8 | 0 | −5.9 / −3.6 | 10,000 |
| USD/JPY | 0.7 | 0 | −14.5 / −24.2 | 10,000 |
| Gold | $0.15 | $10 | −327 / +0.69 | 100 oz |
| Silver | $0.35 | $10 | −51.68 / +0.09 | 500 oz |
| Bitcoin | $0.25 | 0.1% of volume | −0.05%/day | 1 BTC |
This is the key thing to know about InstaForex when comparing brokers. A "0.6-point" spread here isn't $6 a round turn, it's 60 cents — but the position is also ten times smaller. You can't compare spreads in points with other brokers, only through the money cost of a round turn.
Silver is 500 oz instead of the standard 5,000. And be careful: gold has two symbols with a fivefold difference in contract size — GOLD.m is 100 oz, XAUUSD.m is 500 oz. Open a position in the wrong symbol and you'll get five times the volume you expected.
Bitcoin's spread is 25 cents, and it's easy to stop looking there. But a 0.1% commission on volume, at a price around $64,000, works out to roughly $64 one-way and $128 for a round turn. The real cost of the trade isn't where you're looking.
−327 versus +0.69 short. Holding a gold buy position overnight here costs roughly three spreads. For anyone trading gold beyond intraday, that matters more than the spread.
